General information

The idyllic Almgasthof "Alter Pocher" is located directly at the gold digger village in Heiligenblut. We are situated on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, in the middle of the hiking area of the Hohe Tauern - 1,807 m above sea level and we are directly accessible by car, mountain bike or motorbike toll-free.

From our house you can reach the Zirmsee in a 2 - 3 hours walking - it is a lake high up in the mountains. And in four hours you can reach the mountain - Hohen Sonnblick, with Europe's highest-altitude weather observation station on top - at 3,105 meters.

Additional information

Cozy single or double rooms invite you to a cozy vacation. All rooms in the main house are equipped with hot water basin. Shower and toilet are separately.

We have a total of 33 beds: 6 double rooms; 2 single rooms; 1 six-bed room; 1 ten-bed room in the house beside; 1 cuddle room for 2 people with extra bed.

Gold panning in the gold mining village of Heiligenblut you´ll find right next to the 'Alter Pocher'
